Okhotsk Abashiri Marathon 2018
Race Day: 30th September 2018
(Registration Deadline: 10th July 2018)


Abashiri Marathon has 5km and full marathon,
which is suitable for both experienced runners or beginners!



Runners will pass through a cheerful blossom of sunflower
before the finish line.




Cosplayers and joyful atmosphere will make you take lots of shots
from start to finish.



The course goes around the coast of Okhotsk, you will pass
by a few solitary lighthouses in front of the endless ocean.


Full marathon finisher will receive a medal which is made out
of the Japanese pagoda tree.
The unique pattern on each medal marks the effort and
sweat you shed on the land of Abashiri.

Tohoku-Miyagi Revive Marathon 2018
Race Day: 13th & 14th October 2018
(Registration Deadline: 2nd July 2018)


Tohoku-Miyagi Revive Marathon aims to help the 311 Tsunami tormented
regions and people to get back on their feet.
Many Japanese runners from other part of the country join this race
in order to show their support and unity.


Part of the course will lead the runner to the coastline,
which was ravaged by the Tsunami in 2011.
Quite a number of Japanese runners will stop there
and pray during the race.



The elevated roads in Miyagi act as breakwater to defend the city
from natural catastrophe in future.



Local produces and gourmet is widely available along the course.



The marathon route will pass through a number of areas
which are revived or under reconstruction.
The monument "Millennial Hope of the Hill" is the symbol
of never dying faith of locals.
